Now, I’ve gotta tell you that they aren’t cheap. That said, I have a skillet that I purchased new at least 40 years ago, and is in use today, alongside two other much larger Lodge skillets. I did! Several years later I married a woman whose grandmother had taught her how to cook with cast iron. Being able to cook on a stove top, bake in the oven or cook on an open flame using the same skillet is incredible.
