This powder is a magic in a tub. It is THE king of powders... after a huge search I finally grabbed it and the hype is real! Thanks Cult Beauty for the great service. Even though this is a cult product, I can't see the magic behind it. I got this for my birthday it is a staple products! I do like it, but I don't think it's as great as people say.

Doesn't crease, just sets your make up and so far has been the best for my under eye area.
Highly recommended. Also, depending on how often you use it, it can last for quite long. It’s ok overall, it mattifies the skin, but it’s not different from any other cheap powder of this kind that I’ve tried before. I work 9 hour shifts and it looks the same from when I first put it on in the morning to when I get home. I got the medium deep which is a bit deep for me but the good thing it adds some warmth to my face. You can do a lot with it! Not 5 stars because it doesn’t blur any pores and does settle into creases. My makeup last for about 14-15 hr which covers my work day so it’s perfect. Also great to the undereye setting. The shade of honey gives it a warm touch to my skin. In my waiting wish-list is the original translucent to use it for my contour setting. You know you can rely on this powder to keep you matte, flawless and poreless throughout the day! Wouldn't be without this. I have combination/oily skin and REALLY struggle with a shiny face come the early afternoon. It works very well for my oily skin, but I do have to touch up once in a while. I'm not one to write reviews, but this powder DESERVES IT! like wearing a filter :). I use this every day to set my make up. The translucent shade works on virtually all skin tones. I looove this powder soo much! I have tried so many powders but I always come back to laura mercier. I usually use powder by Catrice for 4 pounds and it makes my skin look the same as with this powder. One of my holy grails! 5 stars. For my casual everyday makeup, I would normally use Rimmel's translucent powder but, due to the price, I like to save Laura Mercier for nicer occasions when I want my skin to feel truly light and flawless.

It is more talc coloured than translucent and if I use it on nude skin I rather resemble Caspar. Although it is not so great for mature skin. The best setting powder I’ve used. I don't wear foundation or BB cream and this did however blur my pores, but wasn't worth it. Love the mattifying effect, and also looks natural. I have really dry skin, so I try to avoid areas with mimic wrinkles - it cakes a little at those. I’ve tried Charlotte Tilbury, MILK and Fenty which are all very good. I was sworn off loose powder because it’s such a faff but a friend recommended this to be and I have to say it’s lovely. Sure it’s pricey, but for what it does and how long it will last, it’s so cost-effective.

I have normal to oily skin, sometimes the T zone gets really oily, especially when it's hot outside and I have tried many different powders, both pressed and loose, none of them having the same effect as this one.
That area tends to look crepey and more mature. I simply can not use other loose powder...just this one. Firstly it leaves my face looking slightly darker, somehow changing the shade of any foundation I have on. I use it both as a setting powder and to bake.
